As you may know by now there is a fresh breeze called @OCD sweeping Steemit. We are in fact the adventurers of Steemit in our Search for the hidden Gems. The posts that are undervalued but deserve every bit of attention they can get.

We look for the bestest of writings and do that with such passion that we sometimes forget that we have a life outside OCD too. We forget about our families and our "real world" responsibilities just to dig up the most precious of gems. And we are getting good at it too. Yes, we sometimes even forget that we are basically new to Steemit ourselves.

But under the helm of captain @acidyo we excel. And by excelling we make sure that the posts we nominate get some real attention. Our daily compilation post has several hundred readers already and we manage to bring the nominated authors some really honorable rewards too. And the plans are that these will only rise as we get bigger and better ourselves.

As we grow it's inevitable that we get on certain radars. Our OCD Daily reaks in some rewards already. Considering the fact that we are just live for two weeks it's really amazing. We also see that our nominations get more and more attention just by the fact that we nominate them. We'd say that our mission is a success. We reach exactly what we were aiming for: More attention for the authors we nominate.

Who To Follow

@acidyo The leader of the pack. One though son of a narttu! You know what Fins are known for right? Exactly, whale hunting! Either that or becoming a whale. If you can't beat them, join them. And that's what he is doing right now. Not only is he doing what he can to be a whale, in fact he is! And by being a whale he helps others where he can. If you look closely to all the upvotes around Steemit you'll see that at least half of the upvotes are from him. Not kidding; he is always everywhere and knows everything. Even when is not around he knows. I think it's a Finnish trade of some sorts; you can't tell when and if they are around. But you must seriously consider the possibility of them being there.

@chiefmappster If Steemit had nominations for being good, this guy seriously qualifies. Saving humanity one upvote at a time he knows what it takes but never takes what he knows. His worst crime is running a red light once. And he still feels terrible for that. He did that tho to save a pigeon's life. Nevertheless, crime does not touch this incorruptable buddy. His trademark word is actually "Buddy" and he uses it like normal people use the word Dude, Bro or Man. But he will not have any of that as he relates that with streetslang.

@anomadsoul Eric once hiked 200 miles straight, backwards! His boots are made for walking and that's just what he does. If he tells you "No mad Señor" he is actually telling you he is a nomad and not trying to explain in hispanglish that he is not mad at you. Don't take him for a biker tho as he literally walks around longer than any bike could drive on one filled gascontainer. Rumor has it he's infiltrating some tribe in Honduras right now.

@ma1neevent Known for using the most emoticons in the bio on Steemit. Ever. Also very active member of OCD Chat. Currently the writer of the OCD Daily post so we better give him some credit. Has a buff for Photography so if you use that as a tag he will visit your blog. I mean seriously, he checks out every single photography tagged post. We keep him busy by tagging our random posts with Photography.

@dorman Tried to franchise the "Bangbus" in Australia, ended up doing a service line with the "Magic bus". Is mastering mechanical engineering right now only to engineer his stand-alone datacenter to filter undervalued posts and find them before anyone else does.

@suesa Is our scientific officer on board. She's like "Data" form Star Trek combined with "Ripley". She has no problem beating you to death with a scientific solution and will use it in her advantage. She almost single handedly rewrote the entire Zombie genre. Now she has taken on the mission to teach us more about the flora of this earth. Will probably be one of the first people to successfully harvest a potatoe on Mars. Of course in a colony that was designed by her. Which used a ship designed by her.

@jznsamuel One of the few survivor of a post apocalyptic survival game. If we'd be heading for the Scorge Trails he'd be the person I'd team up with. Full of good and healthy choices which could lead to your survival. Has one thing in common with Tom Selleck and Will Smith: He also hates bots. So much that he is about to start a vendetta of his own.

@howtostartablog Wanted to start a blog, ended up on Steemit instead. I guess Alvin was already been taken (checked - turns out it was) as a name so he came up with "howtostartablog". Not my first choice but hey, it works. We try to mention not so much because typing "howtostartablog" can sometimes be very time-consuming. I don't know if he can sing but he sure can play. Play the curation game that is. He's got some great additions from time to time. He might get more if the people didn't think he was trying to sell them a blog.

@mk40 or Mad Max. He can take the fury road before entering the thunderdome we all know as the OCD channel. If it were not for his beer drinking abilities he would be a fierce Road Warrior. While drinking beer he thinks that he can write. Sweet. Luckily for us he can curate the shit out of the wasteland called Steemit. This guy can find a Gem even in Bartertown.
