Wow, it was a very extensive text for my eyes, or it will be that the fatigue of the night is affecting me haha. I liked reading this, it's a little romantic and with some traces of nostalgia but I liked it. I found it curious that you have several books written, how many years have you devoted to the art of writing?
lol - could be the night. :-)
I do limit the chapters to 1000-1500 words, which is pretty short for print, but lengthy on here. I aim for about 1100 words, really. As it goes beyond 1300, I start wondering about splitting the chapter.
I've been writing off and on throughout my life. Some of the earliest ones I have already published here were originally from around 10 years ago, when I needed the escape the most. I worked a bit harder in 2014, getting a couple of them self-published for the first time, but it has been Steemit that's really encouraged me to put in the extra time necessary to make a real go of it. So, in March, I finally decided to start sharing my work on here. Between upvotes and the occasional curie upvote (as you can see today's chapter achieved), I'm actually able to feel they are becoming successful.
I am on an earlier book on Whaleshares right now. Of course, the fact that I've shared it with you all for free means that Amazon will no longer touch my ebooks - because they're cheaper somewhere else... oh well.
I hope you come back for more chapters. I do have a lot going on in these books, and they move quickly. Often between continents in my world - that's why I have the guides easily at hand.
@viking-ventures, how many talents you have :P colouring and story writing. I bet the book cover also designed by you.
Now your story left me half hanging:P I would love to read the whole story in order to know what happen :(
Yes, I even blogged at one point about how this cover came together. I posed "actors" in DAZ 3D studio, did the lighting, edited out the background and even used one of my own photos for the background! It was fun, even though it was a lot of work.
Chapter 2 is now up. This is a novella - almost a half-novel which wraps around three other novellas... so this story is going to keep you going (and hanging) for awhile now. :-)
wow, you still have that post? I interested to read. You are creative, all these need creative thinking and you enjoyed each moment of it, i can see that. Oh, I want to see the cover with your own photo hehehe..

Oh no... how long I need to wait, hope I won't half hanging until out of breath :p.
Here is the post about the cover image. I include the basic steps I took in its creation. The photo wasn't quite marketable on its own, but had enough going for it to work in this piece of art.
Gosh, what an amazing worked you did. I just visited your post. I love the original painting as well (before the shadow). What a handsome and pretty lady. You explained it in one post what you did, it seems simple. I am sure it was a very tedious work. I seldom knew a writer also designed their book cover.
Ok set, I will wait until next monday to read next chapter hehehe..
hehehe. One does what they have to when they have a limited (i.e. no) budget. :-)
Simple isn't always easy, but it does get easier with practice.
There will be a new chapter in just over 12 hours. :-)
7am Mountain Standard Time Monday through Saturday. You can, of course, binge read if you prefer.
If you want a little more to read in the meantime, I suggest going over to Whaleshares where I'm a few books behind, but only 8 chapters into the current book. Actually, you can scroll back to the very beginning of the series in September, not too far back. :-)
I think this is like a drama, and is very good to read, let alone have a theme about an action.
Thank you! Be sure to come back for more.
Great writing... Keep it going...

Great writing, enjoyed it with a coffee and had a relaxing short break. I definitely have to catch up! Thank you so much!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. There's so much more to come!
Wow, curious, waiting for more. Yeah! I will try hard to be patient :)
Thank you so much.

I do see where you create your own universe. Readers can get lost there...and you can too! I like the maps.
Thanks! Yes, it's fun and yes, easy to get lost inside.

Yeah, it's going to take some time to get through this book, but I post a new chapter every morning (Mountain Standard Time) except on Sundays.
