Set Sail! (The poem)

Hoist the skull ‘n’ bones!
Brandish yer swords right now
for th’ Seven Seas’ desires!

Today we set sail ‘ere!
Hast no fear me matey,
Davy Jones always be close!

Raise yer pint o’ rum,
Swashbucklas o’ these fines seas
‘N’ dæmons o’ th’ Crowns!

Set sail, ‘n’ plunder Royalty!

Right now ‘ere we come,
we dreamt this long ago
‘n’ we’ll never give up!

So stand ‘ere for me,
for th’ lads ‘n’ lasses
‘n’ the urchins we rescued.

Look at the stars t’ere -
for they draw our tales
‘n’ our future dares above!

Set sail, ‘n’ struggle together!

Now listen to me close:
they say we’ve done nothing
‘n’ only harm th’ masses!

Oh what lies they tell,
to themselves ‘n’ their folk,
‘n’ how they glorify such!

We be not t’eir lies,
only night terrors to them
‘n’ th’ masses’ true vigils!

Set sail, ‘n’ disavow lies!

Oh how they all say:
“dead men tell no tales.”
But who speaketh our exploits?!?

For we all ‘r’ dead,
we all escap’d t’eir Heck
‘n’ condemen’d we ‘r’ sadly.

Yet as we live on,
the seas will be t’ere
to tell all our legacies!

Set sail, ‘n’ live forever!

Ooo we’ll plunder all Royalty!

Ooo we’ll all struggle together!

Ooo we’ll disavow all lies!

Ooo we’ll all live forever!

Set sail, yah swashbucklin’ scallywaggas!
