Creative Writing Challenge: Task #3 Diary & Discussion
Hello guys,
I'm quite happy that you demonstrate a positive attitude and interest towards all the tasks so far.
Let me start with the deadline for task #3 - it's by tomorrow night. The tasks are challenging enough to allow an extended 48 hours deadline and looks like we'll be following that kind of rhythm.

It seems that Task #3 inspires the inner writer in many of you.
You have to write a story based on a picture - a plane approaching the airport.

By the time of writing this post we already have one serious post to discuss.
It's @kubbyelizabeth's unbelievable interpretation that's more of a poem than a story.
Edit:
Here's a full list with all the stories so far in no particular order:
I'm already impatient about tomorrow's task. I'd like to pivot to a different field of the broad writing universe.
The Creative Writing Challenge so far
There are people that have asked if they can join the challenge after it was launched. The fairest decision I maid is the just let them in. The only difference is that they won't be participating in the SBD price pool who should be shared between the participants with entries for all of the tasks.
This is a short list of your guys and you are more than welcomed to catch up and follow along:
@sourceofthought
@tegoshei
@spaingaroo
@princessmewmew
Once again, deadline for this task is by tomorrow midnigh, Aug 9.
Price pool for those of you who has submitted their posts of each of the tasks is still 10 SBD and we are looking for generous people to spice it up at least a bit.
Any type of discussion related particularly with Task #3 or any other writing related comments are highly appreciated.

Keep writing,
@steemfluencer
Good summary. @kubbyelizabeth is definitely leading the charge this time around!
:) I was so considered it was due yesterday. Thanks for clarifying on the timeline. I am so grateful you have allowed other people to join in after the launch date. It is fair and fun for us to see others want to enjoy. This challenge is awesome 👏
Thank you again for hosting it. My writing this time around has definitely stepped up. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. I hope you are enjoying hosting this challenege as much as I am enjoying participating in it.
Long story short: It's becoming more and more interesting. I'm squeezing the time to be able to be with you guys. This is my bootcamp to prepare myself to host challenges with the same proficiency @merej99 has (a lot of you remember her event hosted earlier last month). But before I host something bigger, I'd dive into other opportunities that can help me improve my writing and story telling skills.
I like your idea to practice with smaller contest. That is awesome!
I just can't imagine may daily schedule if more people have subscribed for the challenge..
Very true statement. Also, I have some exciting news dm in discord. My name is the same.
Well, I would like to give you a big shout out for playing so well with us glommer-onners. I am enjoying the sensations of writing like this, 'creatively' for the first time ever.
Or first time I can remember well anyway
I think a wrote a creative essay in year nine and the teacher destroyed it for the greater good, or so she claimed.
She probably took it and published it in some beat publisher.
:)
I have to still catch up with quite a few. All of three's now
Hahah.. oh.. I'm sorry for the bad experience you had in the past. This is a great feedback! I'm just an authentic amateur who pays some efforts to engage people with a common interests. I'm also excited about the improvement in my writing skills - have in mind I'm not a native speaker so, it's quite exciting! :)
well, I never guessed that!
I think you did, but you are just polite.
no, I thought you were toffy, lol
what's your first language?
Bulgarian. A pretty exotic on for native English speakers, but an easier one for Slavic language speakers.
