TRY#1

The Adventure begins - TRY#2

You find yourself alone and being consumed by the magic of reading.    

Spinning and swirling colours fill your vision as you feel yourself  being drawn into a new dimension. The sudden rush makes you gasp for air  as you enter the world of magic for the first time.    

You feel weak and have a sense of weightlessness, you can feel  gravity tug at your body and suddenly you recognise the sensation of  falling.  

Not the most triumphant entrance to the realm of magic, yuck! You  find yourself face down in a shallow pool of water all covered in mud.    

You pick yourself up and using your hands you wipe the mud from your  clothes, out your eyes and off your face, you feel ridiculous!  

Your vision is still blurred, but you are acutely aware of a change  in your surroundings, you are somewhere else now, no longer sitting in  front of your Internet device.  

You rub your eyes and your vision clears, you can distinctly smell  the faint scent of fresh pine in the air but there are no tree’s nearby.     

Looking around you take in your new surroundings,  you are standing  in an open area,  surrounded by ancient stone walls, most cracked or  damaged and worn by the passage of time.     

The walls are far taller than you can climb. On the ground and around  you notice many unusual broken statues and clay pots scattered about.     

Your eyes travel to the horizon where stone archways and paved  pathways call you forward to explore.  

From what seems like thin air, a neatly dressed young lady magically appears before you and rapidly approaches.   

Your eyes are instantly drawn to her  cloak and you can’t help but notice her unusually long and pointy tipped ears.

“Greetings traveller” says the young woman, in a warm and welcoming tone.   

“Please don’t be startled and allow me to introduce myself. I am  Astra, the first messenger of the sorceress and I would welcome you to  the Realm of light”. In motionless effort, she simultaneously clasps  her hands together and formally bows in your direction.   

Still somewhat dazzled by the journey and unsure of this Astra, you now face your very first decision.
