He was late for his train anyways. He gave the paperboy the change in his pocket and picked up the paper. FireAwayMarmot. Weird name, he hoped this stuff was good.
Suddenly he remembered the coat he'd put on this morning. In the pocket last night he'd had - his bitcoins! THAT WAS NO ORDINARY CHANGE HE'D JUST SPENT.
"Book it Jimmy!" he heard the paperboy yell, and a scooter with two street urchins peeled out and away from sight.
He shaked his fist after them. "I HOPE YOU CRASH!"
He collapsed in a heap on a bench and looked at the paper in his hands. Might as well read them. A freewrite is a story written in under five minutes using a prompt. This project is run by @mariannewest and is simply oodles of fun even if you did spend your last bitcoins on this periodical!
