Who's the Richest Programmer in the World?
When you say developer, I think of Software Engineering. Because of this I will say Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft is the richest programmer. He’s currently the 2nd richest person in the world.
I'm not sure why the person asked this question, but it's a simple question to answer. Even though I trust the list Forbes produces, I wonder what other lists are out there. I guess another Google search is in order.

If you include Electrical Engineers as developers, than it would be Jeff Bezos. He’s number one on the list. You can check out the full list.
