cornucopia

/ˌkɔːnjʊˈkəʊpɪə/

Let's hear it..

What does it mean?

Well, the dictionaries tell us that..

-it meas a goat's horn, overflowing with fruits and flowers and grain , endlessly, or it could be full of whatever its owner desired

-it means a hollow horn , or cone shaped object, full with useful things or edibles, also used as ornament

Origin

The word cornucopia comes from Latin Cornūcōpiae , from " cornū ‎" (horn) + " cōpia" (supply). In Greek mythology, the cornucopia is believed to be the horn of Amalthea, from which the god Zeus was fed as an infant.
It was first used in English in the early 16th century, waiting another century to develop the figurative sense of an overflowing supply.
