This photo taken on Mt Shasta in Northern California is my second entry for theme Mountains in Black and White in the White Is White photography contest, #wiwcontest, by @dmcamera.

My previous post showed Mt Shasta from a little distance on the North side. The photo in this post was taken higher up on Mt Shasta. In many locations one can find balancing stone stacks - here's one just under the tree line with behind it a view on the summit.

    Thanks @pusteblume! This rock stack was already there. Each year in spring when the snow melts, people go out and build many of these rock stacks all over the mountain so they are an easy photography subject for me. This particular stack of rocks was pretty big, I guess it would take two or three people to place those bottom rocks.

      Hehe! It's like a must do. You see a lot of rocks laying around - you must build a rock stack! 😄I've done that too - adding more stones to a rock stack that was already there or building my own. And of course took photos of it ... 😉 Have a beautiful day!

        I love your photo and especially Mt. Shasta. I listen to kryon and he mentions the place as a very important Lamurian place.

        Thanks @lindari. Yeah Mt Shasta is a spiritual power spot, the energy can be quite intense here. Many people that come here experience the Lemurian presence, it's active...
