Nominate A Witness ❤ (or nominate yourself)

Today I've been learning about witness voting. It seems like there's a lot of work and responsibility associated with the role. I get 30 votes, and so far I've used 2. My gut says that going off the witness post or their blog timeline isn't probably the smartest way to choose. I'm new and I've not been here long enough to really understand who cares about the community genuinely.
While I'm not in any hurry to use all of my votes, I feel I should use a few. Afterall, they're the keepers of the blockchain. I'd like to give 3 of my votes to great witnesses. So for this reason, if you're reading this, I would love it if you'd nominate a witness in the comments. Let me know why you think they're a great witness and some real things they've done for the community.
Maybe others will vote as well.

Nice post in drawing attention to a seriously important issue. There is some great material about (great post from @kenistyles in last 24ish hours) that really help to clarify and inform new steem members. I, like you, have only voted for 3 and am holding fire till I understand the nuances a little more.
I went and read his article after you mentioned it. I agree, it's something to do wisely. But I want to learn all about it, so I don't want to give my votes for someone else to handle. He would be a good person to though. He is very involved and does the research also.

I think @truce would be most deserving of a nomination. His posts and videos add genuine value to the platform. He encourages newcomers. His overall attitude is one I think reflects what Steemit should be. If he's nominated, I would give him all my votes.
