In other news, I updated my witness parameters to the following: My price feed is now set at 2%, I updated my APR to 4%, and I updated my account creation fee to 40 Steem! Once again, thank you to everyone who voted for my witness! It means the world to me that so many people support me! I would've liked to gain another whales support, but, there is almost time to gain whale support for the future!
Who Am I Donating To?
I am donating to a fellow Steemian, @barrydutton. Over the past couple of days, I have talked to @barrydutton and unfortunately, he is in a real tough situation (not sure if he wants me to publicly announce it, if you would like more information, I am sure he would be happy to tell you in private). And, since I gained enough funds to run my witness for the next couple of months, I feel it is necessary to donate the liquid rewards from this blog to @barrydutton as I cannot bare to see someone struggle.

I know I told you I was getting offline due to my headaches and the time here --- and I did get off.
I set a timer and every 20 mins I refreshed your blog because I knew this update was coming and I really REALLLLLY wanted to see how your final numbers ended up etc.

LOL!! I've not had that one before, I usually get Sean Penn and Sylvester Stallone but I am taking that one all the way! Haha! He was born about 2 hrs east of me and had some of his best years playing in Toronto just west of me.

Your question is not really to me - but Nolan seems tied up so I will try and help you.
The quickest way to get some varied resources on this topic is go to the R. of your screen here -- to the tags section. Start typing in witness and a ton of stuff will come up to answer all that --- from people who know a ton more than I do.
Witnesses basically maintain the blockchain and governance structure for a site like Steemit -- they are called different things, in different places but essentially it like the people who mine Bitcoin -- their computer power is used to maintain those things and the ledgers on here.
I hope that helps. I am still learning -- I call it all #Crypto101 and try to post on this topic once in awhile.
