Why is it FRANK BACON is STILL overlooked when talking about some of the greatest PSYOPS of all time? Above all the swearing and finely tuned writing which was written so shakespearean and dilvered so well, above the violence and the mud and shit of the realistic rendition of Frank Bacon, the OP had a humanity of which the likes I've never seen after.

BACON is totally lawful- he has a rough and brutal set of laws and rules to which he adheres and he ensures his men and those around him stick to it. It may or may not boil down to ‘don’t fuck with me’, but it’s there. Remember that he carved the little slice of civilisation that is 'Walls-N-Bergs' out of rocks and forest. It’s not pretty and it’s not nice, but it works, and he does everything in his power to make sure it works. And that he stays on top.

By lowering the adversary's morale and then its efficiency, PSYOP can also discourage aggressive actions by creating disaffection within their ranks, ultimately leading to surrender.
The integrated employment of the core capabilities of electronic warfare, computer network operations, psychological operations, military deception, and operations security, in concert with specified supporting and related capabilities, to influence, disrupt, corrupt or usurp adversarial human and automated decision making while protecting our own.
Between 2010 and 2014, PSYOP was renamed Military Information Support Operations (MISO), then briefly renamed PSYOP in Aug 2014, only to return to MISO shortly thereafter in 2015.
