Junk. A 5 Minute #WeekendFreewrite
She may not have been the most expensive, but being the most treasured she was the unofficial leader.
The others looked up to her, wishing they had what she had. To be wanted, to be loved- it was an innate yet unspoken desire.
Trinkets were being placed in piles. She understood. Mistress had passed the week before. Her family was going through her house deciding what was of value and what would be discarded.
Mistress had loved her well. When she had been a penniless young girl, the love of her life had given her a bracelet.
They had been walking hand in hand along the boardwalk after a sweet day at the beach spent swimming and cuddling in the sun.
He bought her the bracelet and she didn’t take it off.
Not even when she lost him.
Later she married and moved into a house, and the bracelet was replaced with diamonds and jewels to match the extravagance of the lifestyle she had inherited with the name.
But the bracelet was loved nonetheless. Often held while memories brought tears, she was as loved as the young man had been.
The Family placed the bracelet in a pile. The pile was placed in a bag. The bag was brought to the dump.
The Family considered her a worthless piece of junk.
Only the lover knows the value of love.

If you're drawn to writing the true love story time and again, perhaps it's a sign that that story must be told?
Try it :)
i believe you're right , or else it would be stuck and never fogetten, the best way to get through it is to write it down ... that's the only way for salvation at least for writers .

Awww. Yes, only the lover knows and understand the value of love. What may seem like trash to some maybe the only prized possession of a lover. This was a very touching story and very nicely written too. :)
