Hello dear friends, for those who do not know what "One Opportunity" is, I invite you to go through this post that fully explains what this project is about.

Yesterday I went out in several hours trying to explain to some children that I would see them today in the shopping center, between 11 and 1 pm, in order to finish the surveys as well as give them food, while this project is I will try to bring you food at least once a day.

This while I find the measures of all and also when the second part of the project that is oriented to the education of these children in the area of

reading, writing and basic math begins.

today I bring them arepas, juice and cambur, but when I was doing the survey to know the measurements of shoes and clothes, the police arrived with sapanna officials to take them, it was a very traumatic experience, in fact they sent me to erase the photos of my cell phone, but my partner in the project had taken pictures with the compact camera.

today I managed to gather a total of 8 children who are in this situation, for a preliminary count but what they told me their group is 22 children in that situation but usually go to other shopping centers depending on the day and sleep in different places , during the week I will try to gather them to do the surveys and devise with them an education plan with schedules.

In a surprising way these public officials arrive while they finish eating and I am conducting the survey to the second girl, the smallest of them called Sonia Esmeralda.

The majority runs away, but one of them the girl A called Ruby is held tightly by the arm by one of the public officials of SAPANNA (The Autonomous Service for the Protection of Children and Adolescents) and its initials in Spanish, and another one of the boys of around 15 is caught by the police, the small Sonia grabs me by the arm and is paralyzed like me, an official grabs me by the arm noting that these children need a home and that the release, the girl is clinging to me around crying screaming for help, not to let them take her away. Unfortunately I could not do anything, the police told me "release the child that I can take you for police obstruction"

A few hours ago I went to the bakery and I met Efrain the boy from the D survey who told me that after they were taken to the police station, the boy and the two girls who were taken beat them and extorted money, They asked those children for all the cash they had (money they collect asking outside the mall and at the food fair to buy things like bananas and bread at the end of the day and share among those who are) and then let them out, I think a lack of moral and ethical situation that occurs in the country so concurrently but never had involved minors in these extortion situations that usually make the Venezuelan police.

In spite of the lack of confidence that these children could have, we agreed on a different place to meet tomorrow between 11 am and 1 pm to finish asking for the measurements of clothes and shoes, however I bought medium-sized clothes for children for later and start dictating some reading classes.

I have bought eggs, sausages, flour, beans, beans and fruits to feed the children in the next days as well as order 2 lumps of bread flour, ensuring a large amount of arepas that will be delivered to culminate the existence of the budget kindly donated by @tareckadam.

The project is still standing today, we learned that we have to decide how to carry out these activities in more remote places to preserve the integrity and safety of these children.

Hola queridos amigos, para los que no conocen de que se trata "One Opportunity" los invito a pasar por este post que explica a plenitud de que se trata este proyecto.

El dia de ayer sali en varios horarios tratando de explicarles a algunos niños que los veria el dia de hoy en el centro comercial, entre las 11 y la 1 pm, con la finalidad de terminar las encuestas asi como darles comida, mientras este proyecto sea llevado a cabo yo tratare de llevarles comida al menos una vez al dia.

Esto mientras encuentro las medidas de todos y tambien cuando empiece la segunda parte del proyecto que esta orientada a la educacion de estos niños en el area de lectura, escritura y matematicas basicas.

el dia de hoy les lleve arepas, jugo y cambur, pero cuando estaba haciendo la encuesta para saber las medidas de zapatos y ropa, llego la policia junto a funcionarios de sapanna para llevarselos, fue una experiencia muy traumatica, de hecho me mandaron a borrar las fotos de mi celular, pero mi compañero en el proyecto habia tomado fotografias con la camara compacta.

hoy logre reunir a un total de 8 niños que se encuentrar en esta situacion, por un conteo preliminar mas lo que ellos me han dicho su grupo forma 22 niños en esa situacion pero suelen ir a otros centros comerciales dependiendo del dia y duermen en distintos lugares, durante la semana tratare de reunirlos para hacerles la encuestas e idear junto a ellos un plan de educacion con horarios.

De una manera sorpresiva llegan estos funcionarios publicos mientras ellos terminan de comer y le estoy realizando la encuesta a la segunda niña, la mas pequeña de ellas llamada Sonia Esmeralda.

La mayoria sale corriendo, pero una de ellas la chica A llamada Ruby es sostenida fuertemente por el brazo por una de las funcionarios publicos de SAPANNA (El Servicio Autónomo de Protección de Niño, Niña y Adolescentes) e su siglas en español, y otro de los chicos de alredor de 15 años es agarrado por el policia, la pequeña Sonia me agarra por el brazo y se queda paralizada al igual que yo, un funcionario me agarra por el brazo acotando que estos niños necesitan un hogar y que la suelte, la niña esta agarrada a mi al rededor llorando pidiendo a gritos que la ayudara, que no dejara que se la llevaran. Lamentablemente no pude hacer nada, el policia me dijo "suelta a la menor que te puedo llevar por obstruccion policial".

Hace unas horas sali hacia la panaderia y me encontre con Efrain el chico de la encuesta D el cual me expreso que luego de alli se los llevaron a la comisaria, al niño y las dos niñas que se llevaron los golpearon y extorsionaron, si señores les pidieron a esos niños todo el efectivo que tenian (dinero que recolectan pidiendo en las afueras del centro comercial y en la feria de comidas para comprar cosas como bananas y pan al final de dia y compartir entre los que esten)y luego los dejaron salir, me parece una falta de moral y etica esta situacion que ocurre en el pais tan concurridamentente pero jamas habia visto involucrados a menores en estas situaciones extorsion que suele realizar el cuerpo policial venezolano.

A pesar de la falta de confianza que estos niños podrian llegar a tener, acordamos un lugar distinto para mañana reunirnos entre las 11 am y 1 pm para terminar de preguntar las medidas de ropa y zapatos, sin embargo he comprado ropa de talla mediana para niños para luego y empezar a dictar algunas clases de lectura.

He comprado huevos, embutidos, harina, caraotas, frijoles y frutas distinados a la alimentacion de los niños en los proximos dias asi como encargue 2 bultos de harina pan, asegurando una gran cantidad de arepas que seran entregadas hasta culminar la existencia del presupuesto amablemente donado por @tareckadam.

El proyecto sigue en pie hoy aprendimos que tenemos que conseguir la manera de realizar estas actividades en lugares mas alejados para preservar la integridad y seguridad de estos niños.

Ella quisiera ser adoptada y dejar de vivir en las calles, tambien quisiera aprender a leer mejor, de igual manera es una niña muy dulce y ella fue la pequeña que me abrazo y lloraba porque no dejara que las llevaran.

Es importante que sepan que no puedo subir el material gráfico que pude obtener cuando los funcionarios públicos y los agentes policiales  estaban apresando a los niños y adolescentes protagonistas de la historia relatada anteriormente.

Según el articulo 510 del código penal Venezolano que expresa.

El artículo 510 del Código Penal castiga con prisión de uno a tres años y multa de seis a doce meses a aquellos que provocaren a la discriminación, al odio o a la violencia contra grupos o asociaciones, por motivos racistas, antisemitas u otros referentes a la ideología, religión o creencias, situación familiar, la pertenencia de sus miembros a una etnia o raza, su origen nacional, su sexo, orientación sexual, enfermedad o minusvalía.
Serán castigados con la misma pena los que, con conocimiento de su falsedad o temerario desprecio hacia la verdad, difundieren informaciones injuriosas sobre grupos o asociaciones en relación a su ideología, religión o creencias, la pertenencia de sus miembros a una etnia o raza, su origen nacional, su sexo, orientación sexual, enfermedad o minusvalía.
