Whole wheat flour Halwa : Indian vegan dessert
Halwa is a traditional Indian dessert. There are different types of Halwa recipes using different ingredients in Indian cuisine.
Most popular is wheat flour halwa made with clarified butter (Ghee) and dry fruits.
Here I made it vegan and healthy using vegetable oil instead of Ghee and jaggery instead of sugar.
The end product is really delicious and guilt free.

Ingredients required -
Whole wheat flour :1 cup
Jaggery syrup : 3/4 cup jaggery powder boiled with 2 cup of water
Vegetable oil : 1/4 cup
Dry fruits of your choice and cardamom powder
Saute wheat flour with vegetable oil
Add jaggery syrup and cook for 10 minutes and add dry fruits and cardamom powder. Serve hot!
