Tips from experience: communication is essential

@amosbastian created a quiz a few weeks ago, and my name appeared as one of the answers to the question "moderator with the highest review" this might be because of my longevity on utopian as a moderator and the interest I have in reviewing as well as the effort I put in reviewing.
I can remember clearly when @knowledges used to knock my DM, to summon me to review contributions once the field gets congested with lots of contributions.

It has been so good to be in the Utopian team ever since then till now, I have reviewed thousands of contributions, and I have gained lots of experience as a moderator as well as an open source thinker.

I want to share a tip from the experience I have gained and preparing contributors for better days that are coming with the birth of Utopian V2.

An alternative way to improve

Open source is a collaborative world and most huge project are built with the collaboration of people.
There are some things to look out, for anyone who wishes to share an idea for fast improvement in the idea category and across other categories.
You already know there is an established policy for all contributors to always consider when proposing an idea to an Open source project and moderators are also bound to scrutinize those contributions and judge it fairly with the established policies. That is the basics.

Communication is one of the best ways for improvement, I have seen some idea contributions with a minor idea, but the contributor makes the importance of the idea to be huge and needed on the project. These are as a result of understanding the project through communication and learning.

Open source is a collaborative world, and no one can beat around these to improve, everyone needs a mentor and learn to the proper understanding of anything that seems unclear.

Everything you and I see today was an idea, all the innovations and development was an abstract feeling that turns to reality.
Sharing ideas shouldn't be just for sharing sake, the content of every idea contributions are the eyes of the intention of the contributor.

Utopian.io discord server is a home for open source contributors, and lots of open source enthusiasts lives there, irrespective of what you need to improve or to know better about how to contribute, get better and learning. Every open source project needs contributors for the further betterment of the project and ideas that will make the project to be seen and deem important are extremely vital.
I came to understand that original technology and quality ideas are rear but that is what is needed to grow every project.

Using open source project provides the chance for feature requests, and that is the primary reason why we share ideas.

The Utopian incentives should be secondary, having this in mind gives continuous Joy to contribute to open source projects, as you might know, the Utopian vote is never guaranteed, and this should be in your mind while contributing. Therefore, your sole aim should be in proposing your idea to your favorite project and abstain your mind from the reward.
The reward will definitely be there if you provide adequate quality for an open source project and, that will be as an added incentive for the value you have created.

My guide through feedback

I have always tried to make my feedback to be less of criticism and more of information for improvement.
Though there are always views of all individuals and I have received some attacks all because I tried to figure out some errors I found with some contributions, that is part of the experience, while some people who want to improve managed to accept their error and adjust to improve.

Furthermore, you should know that feedback's are there to motivate you to improve your performance, even if the feedback is positive or slightly negative.
The kind of feedback you receive will define what you should be next.
If all the content of a moderator comment is complimentary, then it is a full thumb up and, you can move on the way you made the initial contribution but if otherwise, take those mistake and prove your quality when making other contributions.

Utopian moderation team are open source lovers like everyone and indeed friendly, all we do is upholding the quality standard set by the Utopian and will keep doing so.

AFAIK, the best way to improve is by communication as explained above and following moderators comments to check for errors within the post and work to fix them in the following contribution.
