The Curious Expedition Greek Translation - Part 43 (~1159 words)
Current Session
Yipeee, another translation ready :D
Much like with my previous contributions, there's again nothing really special to report about this one. Actually, most of the strings I picked for this one were even easier than the usual. Just have a look at some of the strings I worked on:
The End
Continue
Use healing mushroom
Examine Tomb
Open Sarcophagus
We [grabbed|procured|snatched] the treasures and [left determinedly|scurried out of this eerie place].
And like with most of my previous translations, I inserted a few original strings of my own as the devs give us the liberty to do so :)
And like always, here's a small taste of the music I enjoyed while preparing this contribution:
That's all folks!

Project Details
The Curious Expedition is a rogue-like expedition simulation set in the 19th century. It's the first game by indie developer Maschinen-Mensch. The game is available on Steam, GOG, Humble Store and at the official homepage http://curious-expedition.com. The game has been regularly updated through out the last 2 years. A list of all the updates can be found here. For information on modding the game, go here . [source and more info]

And here's what I believe to be the official trailer:
Why Did I Choose This Project?
Well, to be honest, I chose this project because all the other options were applications with boring names like Freecad and Jabref. I thought it would be fun (edit: less boring) to translate a game instead. And thank god... I was right!
I am sure my team members are very jealous that I get to translate strings like "Let's eat", "Giant tortoise", "I feel happy and sad", and "Oh my god" while they get to translate stuff like "resolving duplicate keys", "Port Design", "Constraining modifier key" and "Corrugated elements"... LOL!
Too bad for them, now they have to live with the choices they have made....MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Contribution Specifications
- Translation Overview: This is a really large project, approximately 80.000 words and obviously it's gonna take me a while to finish. In each part I plan to translate anywhere from 700 to 1200 words. For the most part, the translation is very easy as there are few, if any, technical terms.
- Languages: The project is being translated from English to Greek.
- Word Count: According to Crowdin, for Part 43# I translated 1159 words, for a total of 43622
translated words. Since most of the strings translated were part of the in-game dialogues there were only a handful (1, maybe 2%) that were left in the original language, e.g. screenshot.

Thank you for contributing to the Davinci-Utopian translation project @trumpman!
This was the 43rd part for the “Curious Expedition” project and your 46th contribution to the translation category in total.
To quote a part of my comment on your first part of this project:
You are currently working on the Curious Expedition, a game that, even though it may not contain difficult terms and vocabulary, is one of the biggest projects a member of our team has ever tried to work on (almost 80,000 words). Good luck on this difficult task!
When you started translating, a handful of strings were already submitted (but not approved or voted) by another translator irrelevant to the Davinci-Utopian project. You have gone through them and checked them for any corrections that needed to be made, you have even fixed a few of them that were problematic.
This translation was very good. There were some ridiculously easy strings in this part, but there were also a few that needed attention, you kept a good balance between the easy and not that easy strings. I rushed and went in to check it before your proofreading, but the result was very good, other than some extra spaces and a missing ending, your Greek text was correct, very well adjusted to the English text, you made no grammar or spelling errors and your writing style was very good.
I also like your contribution post, it is informative and enjoyable to read at the same time. Keep up the good work you’ve been doing @trumpman!
