Translating the Steem Whitepaper | English-Dutch | #6
Project Details
I'm spending endless hours on the Steem Blockchain and love to explain Steem to both newbies (on and off-blockchain) and people who are already familiair with it. There are a lot of different aspects on the Steem Blockchain that are very detailed and I've noticed many people who are for example writing blogs on Steemit for months still have a lot of questions about the way reward distributions, witnesses or Steem Power work. Translating the Steem Whitepaper in my native language (Dutch) is my addition to add to a better understanding of the Steem Blockchain by more people.

Contribution
I translated four (sub-)chapters from the source language English to Dutch. The chapters I translated today covered the topics of No Micropayments, Tips Optional, Value is in the Links, Solving the Cryptocurrency Onboarding Problem, and Solving the Cryptocurrency Liquidation Problem. I translated about 1100 words which were then proofread and approved by @misslasvegas after I corrected mistakes I made. The total translation of the Steem Whitepaper from English to Dutch is now 94% complete.

This is my third week translating the Steem Whitepaper. Just one more translation round and the project will be finished. My goal was to finish translating the Steem Whitepaper before the end of September and it seems I'll be able to finish it in time indeed.

This was part 6 of your translation of Steem Whitepaper and with that, it's at 94%. I think at this stage it's safe to say your end of September goal is in the pocket. And now on to the Genesis translation ;)
Again this time, you delivered quality work even though there were a few minor imprecisions, mainly because the source sentence was not easily understood. But nothing major. The text is consistently hard to translate completely into Dutch, some words just need to stay in English and we agreed that the readers who read the Whitepaper will not be confused by this.
As for Dutch spelling and grammar: I don't have to worry about that at all with you, as your knowledge of the Dutch language is far above average.
With this project coming to an end, I am curious what you will chose for your next project. I think by now, you have proven that even the more complicated and technical texts don't bother you.
