Hi all,
We left out Tuesday evening after work to Zion, IL. This is the wife's 6th year cancer free. She fought like a girl but kicked cancer's butt. Woohoo! We are all settled in the hotel, ready to get a good night's sleep for the full day of testing tomorrow. If all goes well, we won't have to come back for 5 years next time. After treatment, we came twice a month, then monthly, then every other month, then every 6 months, then every year.

We always try to make lemonade out of lemons.

• Sometimes we bring our fishing poles.
  • Sometimes we catch a monster king salmon

This trip we saw 2 of the World's Largest...

World's Largest Pacman!

I have put many a quarter into Pacman and Ms. Pacman machines. I even bought the book and could get through many levels. I never made it all the way.

• This was a very special Pacman!
  • It is (claims to be) the World's Largest Pacman.
    • The screen was floor to ceiling.

I hope to play it on the way home when we aren't so rushed...

World's Largest Truck Stop

This was not a first for either of us. I drove truck for about 10 years, about 1 million chargeable accident miles. I used to stop in here quite often. We didn't always have time every time we passed it, but if we did, it was a great truck stop to stop our truck at!

It was sunny, so I couldn't see the phone screen, so this isn't lined up the greatest, but...

Here's one reason this place is so popular with truckers...

• Showers (most truckstops have these)
• Theater (most truckstrops have at least a TV room, but this is theater seating in a mini-theater!)
• Barber (Very few have these)
• Dentist (This is the only truckstop I know of with a dentist. I have used him a couple of times and he did a fine job and wasn't outrageous with what he charged.)
• Public Laundry (This is pretty standard at the larger truckstops)
• Chiropractor (Only 1 of 2 truckstops I know that has one of these available)

  • Plus they have a great buffet and diner.
