Why Garden?
Because when you go harvest food you get to stop a minute (or 5) and enjoy the flowers.
Look, the Morning Glories are blooming!
And the jalapenos are turning red!
That's when they are the best...

Because the produce is amazingly better than store bought!
Juicy, flavorful...
For instance, tonight I had a BLT and cantaloupe.

It was only about the size of a softball, but it was so ripe it had come loose from the vine.
Cut it in half. Scraped the seeds.
A little salt and a LOT of pepper.
Oh my! Juicy. Wonderful flavor! AWESOME
Earlier in the day
This is my weekend to work. I had an email from Motorola about them giving away a moto mod speaker with built in Alexa if you buy their new Z3 Play phone. I had reviewed this phone on Steemhunt, so I had been on the lookout for it. It's available. In between work, I had time to do some shopping.

A pretty cool idea.- Last year, my wife got a Z2 force with JBL speaker mod. She loves it.
Motorola was giving away the projector at that time. It will project up to 70". Share pics or watch a movie. We played with it, but really haven't used it much.

My wife really wants one of these, so I'll be keeping my eye out.

If you happen to be in the market for a new phone, you can get in on this deal this month only.
But, next month they will be coming out with their flagship phone, the Z3 Force.
I just don't see enough difference to pay an extra $250 or so for it over the Z3 Play.
Instead I spent that $250 on extended warranty, the Hasselblad camera, and got the Alexa speaker. I'll trade the speaker with my wife for her JBL speaker, since my phone comes with Alexa built into it.
Be on the lookout for some better pictures from me.

I'm pretty sure, my moon pics will now look like the moon instead of a fuzzy light. :D

My daughter-in-law isn't a fan of lettuce on burgers or sandwiches (she barely eats salads), so if she's making them, they will be a BT, and it could quite possibly just be a B sandwich. The B always ends up in the equation is what I'm saying.
It's truly amazing how much everything from the garden tastes so much better than what you get in the store. If more people gardened, and could have more than one harvest, I think the produce section of a store would go out of business, or they'd figure out a way to get the good stuff into the store. Local farms or something.
That sounds like a decent deal on a phone, after all of what you get and all of the discounts. Just don't run up the credit card and it will all be worth it, right? :)
We have an Echo (the larger Alexa), and a few Echo dots (smaller Alexa), and it's pretty cool. I didn't know that you could get a phone with Alexa on it, though. That would be awesome.
Problem is, I'm so used to doing it now in the house that I automatically want to do it in the car, too. Unfortunately, my car doesn't have Alexa mode.
So, your wife is just going to give up the JBL speakers mod? :)
I got a dot from Dish TV when we moved here. It is pretty cool.
