18)soggy vs squishy vs slimy：
soggy：heavy with water Your clothes are soggy.
squishy：squeeze water from a "squishy" sponge. I hate walking in a wet, "squishy" shoes!
slimy：黏滑的 on a wet state in which the object's surface is slippery
The word "slimy" has a negative feel to it.
Ugh~More rain.
My shoes are so soggy.
Mine, too. They're squishy~
Yeah. And slimy!
Slimy? Gross! Wash your shoes!
19)make it through：
do sth. successfully or to arrive at the end of sth. safely
20)pull through：渡过难关 He pulled through at the very end.
You made it through (but it was a narrow success, in other words,...you almost failed but didn't.) you achieved something successfully
