Ukiah Champion returns to do word-based battle.

Poetry. Participating here on Steemit with others, such as @japhofin8or, it has been a great pleasure of mine to encounter all sorts of motivation in the form of fun, new and creative contests and challenges. Recently, I was awarded a trophy by @japhofin8or, for being the Gotcha Master. I broke some of his rules in the Ukiah challenge in such a fun way that he gave me a prize! I am honored, and will bear my trophy with pride!

Now, a new Ukiah challenge has emerged, and I am in! This particular task, which is the fourth, requires a three line poem of 9-8-9 syllables, with the general subject being on EMOTION. I will declare that the color of my winner's trophy should be either lime green or turquoise, so that it goes well on my trophy case along with The Gotcha Master's Trophy.

Depth so profound no adverb can tell
of the far-reaching effects on
my health, this pain cannot be borne well.

I recently wrote another interesting bit of poetry, I will include it here to fill out this post. For the Fractal Writing Contest I knit an eight by eight piece of language.

Spinning through the void avoided
nothingness of a kind. Loitered
across the vast emptiness where
many things filled the black. Stripped bare
of my sanity my mind thus
filled in the rough edges, I trust,
to populate my last moments
with divine geometry, intense.
