Conor Mcgregor vs. Nate Diaz - Have You Forgotten ?

These two have already met in-side the UFC Octagon twice. With the first fight ending in Nate Diaz's favor. As a large underdog and late replacement he would surprise the world ( but not himself ) when he would submit Conor in the second round via rear-naked choke at UFC 196.

With the success of UFC 196 and the charisma that both Conor and Nate have, it was no surprise to fans worldwide when a rematch was put in place. At UFC 202 Conor would get his "revenge" and win via Decision in a very close and entertaining fight.

Conor vs. Nate 3 was on the minds of many fans. It was almost a certainty to take place. Both previous events broke records and combined sold over 3 million PPV's. But instead we have Nate Diaz side lined and hasn't fought since his last bout with Conor. While Conor has moved on to winning the LW belt and crossing over into the boxing world facing one of boxing greats in Floyd Mayweather.

With the recent events of khabib Nurmagomedov becoming the new LW Champion and events that took place in the lead up of UFC 223 ( Conor's Bus attack ). Have most casual fans forgotten about the potential trilogy fight between Conor and Nate ? I believe they have. Do you still want to see this fight ? Has it lost some of it's " luster " ?
