@old-guy-photos. This is a sad post. Yesterday, morning on the way out, I still saw a few trees outside the train station in Toa Payoh, Singapore. There are usually many bicycles parked illegally next the trees which is also a kind of hazard. Recently, there are new bicycle locking racks constructed nearby. It seems the convenience of this illegal parking location proof to be too attractive. This morning as I go the train station. Shocked. What? Trees no more. What’s going on? The few trees there were posing no danger before. So sad.
又发一帖为@old-guy-photos的#treetuesday树木星期二。这是一个有点难过的帖子。昨天早上出门，我还看到地铁站外的几棵树。通常，许多自行车非法停泊在树旁，这也造成一种危险。最近，在附近建造了新的自行车锁定架。似乎这个非法停车位的方便性太过于吸引人。今天早上我去地铁。惊讶。这么树不见了。搞什么东西。 那几棵树可没妨碍到人。有点难过。

What maintenance? Someone murdered the trees. Not more life. This is a crime scene.
什么维修？ 根本是谋杀了树。这是一个犯罪现场。

i hate this type of so cold development or so cold cleanness schemes you are 100% right and what you say it its a crime scene yes im agree with you its a crime scene , one tree is making oygen for hundreds of humas and the trees who are the reasons of our good health who save us from the natural clamities and who grip this soil in the season of floods and who provide us a healthy and pure clean breath , is it rite to cut them and just say sori word on a pc of paper and cut them with this cruelty , i think we all inculding this city governement should feel shame and say sori to these trees either they are not listening us but they have a soul in them wither they cannot speak but they can feel pain when this type of wildness showed by humans , so sad to see this dear ,our earth is continuosly going in the trouble because the global warming is gone high and high every year the temperature is gone high and in this scenario we should grow more plants and trees which are the main source of making oxygen for the human and the other living organisms but we are the humans we are cutting these trees and just saying a so cold soory on paper, i think its a shameful act by people who are doing this, by the way thanks for sharing this cruel scenes by this atleast we can see our cruel faces and the acts we are doing with these innocent trees, thanks stay blessed

the way you display these pics and the way you describe the grief behind this cruelty i think credit goes to you who aware the steemit community about this cruel act, thank you my dear for arising these serious issues and for capturing these issues in camera , thanks alot and may god give a lesson to these murdrers of trees.

有時候好像很常這樣, 明明樹就沒有妨礙到什麼建築, 但總是要把他給除掉 :(
大家都感到可惜。不知为了何计划。
台北要蓋的大巨蛋也有要把人行道的樹木去除的計畫,但台灣某些護樹團體很瘋狂, 連夜搭帳篷巴在樹上,讓工程人員無法動工~ LOL
我们这里没到这地步。这大巨蛋是要比现在的更大吧？
恩，看起來比舊巨蛋大一些，不過還沒有完成

Sad but I found today the planted new trees - different kind but it was late and couldn't see well.
some say for every old tree that dies hundreds more are created. May not apply to cities but you get the idea.
