Fort William And Mary
Originally known as "The Castle", later, the British named it Ft. William And Mary. It was captured by Patriot forces, retaken by the Brits, and later abandoned by the British in the Revolutionary War. The fort was renamed Fort Constitution in 1808 following rebuilding.
