Easy days are over, we are not allowed to oversleep again. We a have breakfast at 9h00 and a taxi at 10h00 waiting for us near our guesthouse. Today’s objectives are David Gareja monastery complex and Kakheti region. Since we woke up late for breakfast yesterday, we got it later today which was not good because the taxi was about to come.

Probably one of the first associations with Norway are fjords. Especially those around Stavanger. I admit, they are on my list of places to see, but they will have to wait a little longer. Why in that case Sandefjord, not Oslo? There were three reasons.

Towering above the present city is the Citadel which is seen below from a distance towering over the present city. The building has been recently restored to much of its former glory. This series of posts will show some of the restorations and provide a simple history of the building.
