SNIPPETS FROM MY TRAVEL DIARY; PAGE 5 - NAINITAL
Dear Friends,
Welcome to my blog and appreciate you for being here .
This is my next episode on the series for showing and introducing few places where I was fortunate to spend few days to enjoy and understand the importance of these places.
For a change I moving away from Delhi (though still a lot of place left to post) to a place where an overnight journey fron Delhi will take you to another famous tourist place viz NAINITAL
Nainital is another hilly place like many famous tourist spots such as Dehradun, Mussorie, Valley of flowers, Rishikesh to name a few in the state of Uttrakhand. If elevation is calculated in Kilometers Nainital is almost 2 KMs from Mean Sea Level which makes it well be one of the tourist spot that sitting at the peak among Himalaya’s feets.
Watching sunrise brings an awesome feeling and a fresh energy
wherever it is and was not different either here
too while the bus was about to reach Nainital
The first spot the driver cum guide took me was a real surprise which didn’t read anywhere earlier while trying to know more about Nainital. It was different manmade caves with each one identified with different animals and trees name like Panther caves,Tiger caves, Apes cave etc with a total of six in numbers
The caves are linked to each other and a hanging garden is made in between to add its beauty. Sorry, no pictures of hanging garden, I missed it.
Snap from inside one cave
And its me in front of a cave
It was very hard to imagine, inside in a populated town they have made something which people would looked like experiencing some old world struggle.
Some places were so narrow that it was very difficult to cross without adjusting the body and in some other places climbing through the rocks was so difficult that others were gracious enough to help each other.
The time we spent inside was totally different experience that had not been seen anywhere else. Both kids and adults were looked happy with the fun the caves offered as we came out.

have you ever seen any Indian Panther before? I have watched a video about that in natgeowild but I can't remember where is it. Yes I know that the Bengal tigers is the most well-known animals from India (already watched Life of Pi last year).
It must be so interesting to be able to travel around your own country, right? I was travelling to some beautiful places in my country but always forget to take some nice pictures and write about it now. You're so Lucky!
I might seen, not remembering infect. Because since for a long time I dont have interest in zoo related visits. But there are quite few in across many places here. In one place in south they will take us in a caged bus through the forest that Iions and tiger come and touches the vehicle that we can see through the window.
There is another place in north namely corbett famous for panthers from many many years ago. Some British fellow Jim Corbelt who ruled then were hunted them to save the people from I those beasts. There are so many books on it. Man Eaters of Kumaon is one
