SNIPPETS FROM MY TRAVEL DIARY 1 - DELHI

Delhi, being the capital of India is famous for many places. As my professional life was in Delhi lately I was lucky to roam around many historical places inside Delhi and also many other neighboring states.

Feroz Shah Kotla Fort was built when the Mughals decided to shift their capital from Tughlaqabad to Ferozabad due to the scarcity of water in that region. The fort was built along the Yamuna River to solve the purpose. Though the fort remains merely as a ruin, it is still regarded as one of the important edifices of historical importance. For the lovers of history, who are passionate about ancient architectures and dynasties, this place has enough archaeological importance. Visit the fort for a stupendous insight into history. Source

The following snaps will give you some glimpses of the said place..

Wonderful pictures @angelro. Delhi is such a great place to visit specially for those who love history. I had my first ever trip to Delhi. The place holds so much more than crimes and dirty railway stations. Thank you for sharing :)

Thank you for dropping by and also that nice comments..Delhi is a great place for travel freaks and as you said. Delhi itself have many places such that one week or 10 days are not enough to see all the places. And also based on delhi you could be able to go many places around the neighboring states..and i was lucky as I was there for 4-5 years as part of my job...

Hope you good..Thank you

I enjoyed the trip. Thank you! It is not likely I will ever physically visit India, but travel posts such as your allow me to know it better. I also agree with your recommendations for improving blogs, although I spend more than an hour a day--research usually takes more time than the actual writing. But certainly, always, always original content.
