#1 Jordan Series – The Secret Smugglers Route To Petra by @doskinas

Petra is an ancient city that had many entrances in and out. However not every access point was available for the public. Today we took a roundabout to enter Petra through the backdoor. Which I would like to imagine that smugglers, spies and other types of people used to enter unnoticed. A route surrounded by the mountains on all the sides with a small trail leading to the main Monastery.

The actual grave of William Shakespeare isn't all that exciting to look at. He is interred right next to his wife, Anne Hathaway. Shakespeare died in 1616 at the age of 52. The best thing about it is the inscription he chose to discourage his grave from being tampered with. It reads:"Good friend, for Jesus' sake forbear, / To dig the dust enclosed here. / Blessed be the man that spares these stones, / And cursed be he that moves my bones"It was a common practice in those days for graves to be moved to make way for a more wealthy patron of a church, and he wanted to ensure that would never happen.

#3 Kathmandu/Bhaktapur, Nepal - Travelreport Day 2 by @worldcapture

My plan on this day to go out of Kathmandu to visit a old town called Bhaktapur (Khwopa) - the Place of devotees. It's an ancient city about 14 km away from the center of Kathmandu which makes it super easy to get there by taxi for less than 5$ if you negotiate right. If you wonder why it needs at least 35 mins to drive the distance of 14 km - It's simply because of the extremely slow traffic in Nepal. It just takes ages to get from one point to another. But we are traveling - So no rush needed
