Travel Digest

#1 Travel Norway #24 - Lofoten - Skagsanden beach by @photovisions

"I am back with my favorite series on this blog - this time I want to take You to short walk on the beach - not just a normal beach - unique, magical one! This beach has a lot to offer for everyone, not only photographers, every time of the year, so it is not a big surprise it is one of the most popular places in Lofoten Islands. As You know, Lofoten is one of those places in Norway about which knows everyone who are interested in traveling or photography. The whole archipelago is one of the best photo destination, not only in Europe, but in whole world!"

#2 Lord Nigel's Travels - South America - Galapagos islands by @lordnigel

"New islands are born over 1000's of years as an under sea volcano spits out hot lava straight into the ocean, forming new islands. On some of the older islands are fantastic lava flow caves, you can walk underground for miles and they are pitch black deep within - make sure you take a torch and spare batteries :) As the islands get older different plants and vegetation take hold, meaning the newer islands have very little plant life or animals at all. Unless you know where to look."

#3 What is incredible about Masada? by @helgalubevi

"The most incredible thing about visiting Masada is to know that civilizations have lived there for so long. It was built around 103-76 BCE and was inhabited until the second century (CE). Masada stands on top of the reddish mountains, where nothing can be cultivated. The only available water in the region is very salty and comes from the Dead Sea.Considering that it is a desert region, storing a good quantity of rainwater is also a good question. So how did these people live in that place for so long? "

Hi, thanks so much for the mention!! I'd definitely love to upvote and support other people's great travel posts!

Welcome @anna-belle. It's always nice to see new users on the Steemitworldmap. Your European posts are fantastic. Perhaps if you can write a bit more and longer post that would be great so it's more like a travel post rather than a photography posts. It would definitely increase your chances of being curated in future. Look forward to see more of you around ^_^
