#1 A Tour of Jamestown by @for91days
"Normally, it's good to stick to your principles. But there are times when the correct course of action is to take stock of a situation, and bend accordingly. This happens more often than usual when you're in a foreign country. And when you're traveling in Africa, it's practically the only way to get along. Today, we violated our sacred practice of ignoring bothersome local "guides" ... and it was the best decision we could have made."

""Founded c. 1350, Ayutthaya became the second Siamese capital after Sukhothai. It was destroyed by the Burmese in the 18th century. Its remains, characterized by the prang (reliquary towers) and gigantic monasteries, give an idea of its past splendour." - World Unesco"

"Day Thirteen: Of all of the items on "my list" for this journey, seeing Crater Lake was at or near the top. It is the only National Park in the western United States I have never seen. As much as I had read about its remarkably blue waters and all the details of its formation, my anticipation level was high."

FIRST AND WOW .. thank you so much for featuring our story of Jamestown. We're going back on Wednesday to visit one of many champion boxing schools there.
What a great entry my friend. I really enjoyed the read and loved the pics and videos. Well deserved first today :) Enjoy your trip! I am looking forward to see more about it :)
Thank you as always for your appreciation and the feature!
You are welcome :)
Awesome! Thank you very much for the feature! :))
Wow! Thank you so much @steemitworldmap / @lizanomadsoul for both a Feature and an Honorable Mention on the same day. You are very kind. Particularly since I didn’t even ultimately reach my objective in the featured post. You did make a great extract from the post though, highlighting how much I wanted to see it. All I can say is, I did my part. I showed up! 😉
God willing, I will have another opportunity someday, as my desire to see that marvelous lake has only grown, now that I got so close.
P.S. If you’ll permit me, I believe you have a typo on one of your Honorable Mention listings. Should be “Snake”, i.e “Along the Snake River.” I am very familiar with all of this country and the Snake is a great river that arises from Yellowstone and flows down through one of the deepest canyons in North America, before eventually flowing into the Columbia in Washington …
Oh thank you, I will correct it right away :) You are welcome, yes you did show up and you did even still write about it! Next time Im sure you will have more time to enjoy this spot :)
Congratulations @for91days, @worldcapture and @roleerob on your featured blogs. Congratulations also to all who received honourable mentions.
Thank you @lizanomadsoul, #traveldigest and #steemitworldmap for including mine there as well. I'm very grateful. 🌸 🌷 🌸
