#1 MYANMAR - watching the world go by on the Yangon Circular Railway
Our first featured post is from @digi-me. She goes on a circular train ride that starts and finishes at the Yangon Central Railway station in Myanmar. The ride is just under 50km long, goes through 39 stations, takes 3 hours and cost just under one USD. There is plenty to see on the ride as the train leaves the city for the villages. Vendors come on the train to sell their goods, while others wait by the station platform as the train pulls in. At one stage, vendors get on the train with sack loads of vegetables, fillling the entire carriage. It looked and smelt like a vegetable garden. They quickly start to cut and bundle their produce and by the time they get to their station they were ready to go to the market. Sounds like a fasicnating way to spend a few hours.

#2 Small travel guide for the laid-back beach town of Hikkaduwa in Sri Lanka
@steef-05 has prepared a mini guide on what to do at Hikkaduwa beach in Sri Lanka. Getting to Hikkaduwa is pretty easy as its only about 100km away from Colombo and trains leave every 15 minutes. Once you arrive, you can laze around on the beach, have a cocktail or coffee, or go for a swim if the season is right. If you're there between November to April, it's a good time for surfing. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or an experienced surfer, both are fine here. And finally, animal lovers can visit the turtle hatchery here, their aim to conserve the endangered turtle species.

#3 Saturday morning at the Gold Coast Beaches
Our other beach post is from @betterthanhome, he went to the Beaches at the Gold Coast in Australia. As he walks along the Rainbow Bay Lookout, he can see the Kirra Beach on one side and the Rainbow Bay Beach on the other. There are dozens of Water Dragons as he continues his walk towards the Oceanview Way. After a dip in the sea, where he sees hundreds of big white jellyfish, he continues to do a bit more walking up the hill to Point Danger. This is an odd spot as it's the boundary for Queensland and New South Wales. NSW is one hour ahead of Queensland, it must be weird to gain or lose an hour by just walking a few steps. That would be fun but also rather confusing.
