#1 Serious Bagging: Magical day on Ben Nevis. 100 in the bag!

Those who have been reading the #traveldigest and following @natubat will know that she's is on a quest to conquer 100 munros in Scotland, UK. It's always been her plan to make Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in UK her 100th. And guess what? She made it at last!! With only 8 hours of daylight now, it's an early 6.30am start. She choose a rather unusual steep climb which included some near vertical mossy slabs to climb, followed by scrambling through an enormous boulder field. Strong wind is of course another issue when you're at this height. After nearly 5 hours climb she made it to the summit at last and celebrated with some champagne chocolates and a summit dance. Congrats @natubat!!!

#2 STEEMFEST Vlog - Banquet in a Salty Dwarf Mine!

The Wieliczka Salt Mines is one of the most famous tourist spot in Poland and @daveonarrival was one of the hundreds of lucky guys and gals to have dinner there during SteemFest. The salt mines are over 100m below ground, that's 380 steps and 54 floors deep. The 13th century mine actually goes as deep as 300m and has 300km of passages. There are many statutes underground that are carved out of salt, as as well as chapels that were used by the miners in the old days. All the walls are made of salt and if you want you can lick them, urghh... I'm not sure if I want to do that. The highlight of @daveonarrival's visit was having dinner at 130m below ground in the chapel's main hall. Check out his video for a tour of this great experience.

#3 TacoCat’s Travels (Finland) #14: Visiting a sea fortress! ????

The last featured post is from @tacocat, she visits a UNESCO heritage site near Helsinki in Finland. This is an 18th-century sea fortress spread across 6 linked islands and short ferry ride from Helsinki. With only a few hours of daylight, she tried her best to walk around the fortress and see the King's Gate which was at the other end of the fortress. The whole place looks a bit deserted like a horror movie, but apparently there are people who still live here, she reckons they might be elderlies. After walking around and nearly getting lost, she finally reaches the King's Gate only to realise she has to hurry back to the port to catch the ferry back to mainland. Hurry!!! Run!!!
