Hi. It's @choogirl here bringing you the 32nd edition of #traveldigest. I have some GREAT NEWS to share with you. I was watching the steemfest livestream earlier and the Steemit Worldmap project won the Hackathon first price of 2000 steem!!! Well done @martibis, that's so awesome!

As always, all posts featured here will be put on our Editors Choice Map. If you want to learn more about Steemit Worldmap, you can check the introduction post or check the FAQ section on the website!

1. Round the Isle UK trip #3 The surreal Scottish Loch

Today we go with @livinguktaiwan to the beautiful Scottish Highlands. She starts in Stirling, then continues to the picturesque town of Luss at Loch Lomond, before stopping in at the harbour town of Oban for some seafood. While there is a lot of gorgeous scenery to take in along the way, @livinguktaiwan descibes the piece de resistance as the drive to Glen Etive from Glencoe. This 'road to nowhere' is featured in the film Skyfall, where James Bond and M stand beside their car on the side of the road.

2. Traveling to Southeast Asia: Hiking through rebel area in Myanmar(2/2)

@bypaul presents us with the second part of his Myanmar hiking journey near Hsipaw. He starts by describing his encounter with one of the rebels they'd heard about prior to the trip. He then goes on to tell us about the next village they stay at, where he plays cards and chats with a local man whose income depends on winning the lottery at least once a year. The next day they hike through the countryside past an abandoned military camp, water buffalo and locals making food for the monks.

Finally, @wolfje takes us along the Garden Route, which is a road that runs from Mossel Bay to Port Elizabeth in South Africa. He describes numerous places of interest along the way including Tsitsikamma National Park, Monkeyland and Birds of Eden, Montagu Pass, and Prince Albert. However, Oudtshoorn is presented as the real hidden gem of the trip, boasting several attractions including a meerkat tour and the Cango Wildlife Ranch.
