Bubble car. BMW Isetta
First I saw this microcar on YouTube. One of the most popular in Ukraine travel-show used this car. I thought it’s a toaster on the road.
The Universe has an excellent sense of humor as we were going to Munich and BMW Museum!
It was sold more than 160 thousand of such cars starting from 1955 till 1962.
Just imagine 3 l/km of fuel consumption and cheap price. Parking for Isetta is not a problem at all.
In the museum you can upload the BMW Museum application using QR-code. Easy to use, a lot of useful and interesting information.
At first glance it looked like Fiat for me.
Actually Renzo Rivolta, an Italian company, designed Isetta. BMW built Issetta under a license using its own engine. 85 km/hour seems to be very good speed fr such car. And it was enough to have a driving license for a scooter.
Isetta helped a lot of families to go to the first trip. Just look, they're happy!

Thanks for sharing the old photos of the Isetta in use. I got to see one of them parked in a barn in the US once (Pennsylvania) but I hadn't seen what they look like with passengers out and about.
