Motorcycle Travel Series by @velimir 'Old Music Players' (Part #361)
'Old Music Players'
Remember one of those machines? I've still seen a few when I was a kid. Since then, I haven't seen a single one. One would walk in a bar, insert a coin, and change the atmosphere to his liking by playing a song. It's a jukebox, automated song machine, an item one can still see in old movies. :-)
At home, records were played on a record player like this one. Modern versions of these seem to be coming back to life, recently. People are buying LP's again what I find a fascinating trend. A true connoisseur thing. Check them on Amazon if it's too hard to believe.
And another version.
Legendary Fender guitars were expensive objects of attraction to anyone who could tweech strings. Yours truly still owns a silver one built back in 1979. for the 25th anniversary of the company. That cost me a whole summer of working at a restaurant, instead of fooling around with other teenagers. I was sixteen at the time. That's why I've always been reluctant to sell it. :D
Enjoy your day! :)

Oh, God. Joan Jett is part of the music that goes off in my head from time to time. "Put another dime in the Jukebox, baby"
One of my great reasons for hope in the world is my God Daughter and her friends. When I go to visit I take over part of her space (an old bunkhouse that suits me well). She has a small collection of 'antique' cameras and occasionally shoots film. Last year she had added a turntable and some vinyl. She's 17. There is hope!
I'd have never figured you for a 'silver bullet', but I am incredibly glad to hear that story, and that you still have it!
Thanks, my friend.
I just love the old musical instruments, but it is sad that nowadays we don't them, new instruments, have replaced them. but old instruments are considered to be very useful. but these instruments are kept in security so that random people should kep these instruments at safe plays. I really like the guitar, i wish i could had it :( I want to learn guitter, it is one of my dream guitar, and i can't wait to buy this guitar, but i'm hpoing the day will come and i'll be buy these,

Such jukeboxes have moved into the rhetoric of the rarity. But from this, they became more valuable than before. I've never seen a jukebox, probably because in my country it was not common.
By the way, I have a gramophone at home and a collection of records. Since the days of the Soviet Union. I remember how I loved very much to listen to the music that he reproduced in my childhood. It was intriguing. I liked to hear a "slight cracking" during the play. Now I had an idea to revive it again :) Thank you for submitting this idea. "Time to blow off the dust" ...
Those machines really bring back the old days together with all the good memories and feelings that makes childhood simple yet awesome. How lovely to see them being taken care of!
That Fender guitar, the Jukebox, these things bring sweet memories that we can remember. They remind us of how simple our life then, simplicity that we treasure!
Old musical instruments are obseleted now a days. Modern instrument replaced the old instruments. There were days when people love to listen folk singing with old instruments. Now time has been changed People don't have much time to listen live music. They prefer recorded music. Old instruments also part of our cuture. Unfortunately now you can find mostly old instruments in museum @velimir
