SeanyTravels (Finland) #5 Shopping in a Gigantic Hypermart! There's (almost) Everything!
Continuing on from my previous post where I walked on the ice lake, I managed to cross it successfully and excitedly, to reach the Gigantic Hypermart!
So one of my favourite activities to do, locally or abroad, is shopping for groceries in a supermarket!
When we first heard and saw that Mikkeli had 2 gigantic hypermarts, we knew we had to take a look for ourselves. But it was definitely a distance from the city centre, so we were pondering which day we should figure out a way there. We also heard of the shortcut but was not sure how to navigate there without a car. But as we took a walk through the ice lake (covered in our previous post), we naturally realised that this ice lake was the shortcut to the hypermart during the winter.
So let's take a look at how it looks like and how much fun I had!
leaving the ice lake and spotting the backdoor of the hypermart
sorry doggo can't enter
very very wide aisles
one whole wall of pick-it-yourself mix sweets
pretty heavy bread
all mine
Don't worry, this is not the end of it. In another post, I will bring you to another Hypermart we found!
For my introduction post please check here!
Where else have I travelled to?
Check Seanytan's SteemitWorldMap!
So spacious!
Not like our NTUC always so many people
yea there's sooo much fewer people here. actually entire finland population is same as sg, but the density is just opposite ends of the world.
and I always go NTUC in the wee hours to avoid people as well HAHA
hehehe, love your traveling pics. and wow just discovered the map thing
didn't even know steemit did that!
hey @passivetools thanks for the upvote, i have just followed you too!
I didn't know you were on steemit as well! :D
I always like to visit the local supermarket when I travel as well. I haven't been to one surrounded by snow yet though :)
when people ask me what I like to do and i reply Shopping, i don't think they will think I am referring to groceries shopping HAHA
A huge hypermart there with the high ceilings. Upvoted!
yea this one bigger than the Tampines Giant!
Nice pics! Hope they have nice food there!

woosh
P.S. If you or anyone you know has been a victim of @grumpycat please know that he has been harming people throughout Sōsharumedia (ソーシャルメディア). Stealing the service that I (and other bots) have provided them and hiding behind a facade of stopping bid bot abuse which he clearly has no interest in.
Sneaky Ninja is a very responsible bot, working directly with steemcleaners, actively pursuing spam and abuse on our platform. If you would like to see what steps Sneaky Ninja has taken to fight bid bot abuse see this post and this post. Also know that I am working daily on other solutions.
If you would like to know my personal take on bid bot abuse and why I do not agree with the 3.5 day rule, see this post
Grumpycat is a villain that must be stopped to protect our freedoms here on steemit!
