Lake Tahoe Overnight Photo Adventure - Video
Want to join me up above Lake Tahoe for an overnight photo adventure without traveling to Tahoe? Hit play and I'll take you along on last night's fun. Many many photos were shot, I will be working on those throughout the week and I'll post them individually with more info. But in the mean time, I hope you enjoy seeing what it takes to view incredible sunsets, sunrises, and the Milky Way at the lake and what it takes to get the shot. (16 minute video)

No really! The light painting is a great technique. And I used the same light ring that @coruscate uses so you know it's legit!

Eat Your Veggies! I love it! Although...ScottShots...I feel like even if it tasted like cardboard spread on a cinderblock, you would still be like, "it's not all that bad!" In other words, you're just a good dude!

Thank you @ashwinrajt! Yeah, that view with dinner was pretty spectacular. Glad you liked the video and info. I used to get a little scared on the overnight solo adventures but really, the bears are more scared of us than we are of them. It's those darn mountain lions that still freak me out a little but I've only seen one - so out of sight, out of mind... I've shot the milky way when the moon is up and you can get a decent photo, but it is much better when the moon has set and the sky gets darker. The stars don't have to compete with the moon light. Photos to come this week... Cheers!

The first 38 seconds were amazing! I was extremely jealous until the video refused to play 38 seconds in... It sucks youtube is censoring people and people cant watch the people being censored on dtube. Hopefully, dtube becomes a better experience in the near future for everyone. Sorry for buzz killing your post as you were perhaps the most positive person at the conference aside from @everlove! Thank you for all you do! I love everything about you!

That's a bummer that you only saw the first 38 seconds, that's the most boring part of the vid... I tried to show my wife and son the vid last night and it kept freezing on my too. Grrrr. Changing the setting to 480 instead of 720 helped it run smooth. I hope they can afford to upgrade their situation soon...
