Exploring the UK - Nature in Nene Park
I think it’s a little sad that we often neglect those areas local to us in favour of those that are abroad or far away. I think there’s some truth to the saying, “The grass is always greener on the other side” and is something we are now seeing in a virtual sense, clinging to our phones or computers to gain some kind of value in this world.
There are few trips that I have planned this year, one being Japan in approximately 3 weeks time, so of course I hope to show you some pictures from my adventures. After that my main focus will be on local areas nearer to where I live in the UK. Once I’m back from Japan I think it will be a perfect time to explore around here as the summer months will have began and there are some interesting places that I haven't visited in a long while.
i’m currently living in quite a rural location so I’m blessed to be right next to a nature park that I can run around every morning called Nene Park in Cambridgeshire. The park features lakes and lots of open space which makes it easy to explore and see different wildlife and just enjoy the peacefulness of nature. It’s a great getaway from my day to day work. If I'm stressed I can just leave my desk and computer and stroll around the park. Oh, and there’s also a vintage steam train that runs all the way through.
Since I’ve taken lots of pictures over the years I wanted to highlight a few here for you to enjoy today. These were taken in a mixture of different seasons but I still think it's an interesting selection. I especially like the feel and the grain in the photos, this is when I used to shoot a lot on different film cameras. I hope you like them and I will definitely show more in the near future.

I love traveling myself and I have traveled through most of my country and a bit in few others. Japan is also one of my travel goals, but I would like to go and live there for a few months instead of just visiting.
Thanks for the nice comment. Really appreciate it. Yeah, definitely. Japan is an amazing country and I've been lucky enough to visit many times but have never stayed there longer than a month. I hope to do so in the future :) I also hope you will be able to visit there and enjoy your time.
