Why we danced at Chele La?
Actually, I don’t have an answer to this question. Everytime I lead a group to Chele La, my participants do pleasantly #funny things. Perhaps this place has a stress relieving Aura, which makes you #happy.
Chele La separates Haa and Paro valley. At 3810m, it is one of the highest motor able pass in #Bhutan. The drive from either #Paro or Haa is through dense spruce and larch forests. On a clear day, you can see Mt. Jomolhari and adjoining peaks to the North West.

Chele La is decorated with prayer flags just like all other #mountain passes in Bhutan. During #winter, the temperature and breeze will make you tremble with cold. It is pleasant during #summer time and people take a short hike on either side of the pass to get view of Paro and Haa valley.
