This was one of our trips to the Metalio beach where we enjoyed a delicious lunch and had some fun time playing in a pool and relaxing on the hammocks.
This was just one of the restaurants we picked to have lunch. It has two pools, bar, and it is like a motel where you can also rent the rooms out.
It was absolutely beautiful and relaxing.
Absolutely love the bright colors in El Salvador. Everything is just so colorful, from the buildings, to the decorations like this YELLOW UMBRELLA to the clothes people wear.

You can also enjoy the beautiful beach and ocean. You can also have a romantic dinner with some wine underneath these little hut umbrellas, which will cost you extra $5.00.
Metalio is a great tourist place, where you can find a lot of restaurants serving delicious fresh meals, just like this one, with pools and rooms to stay in.
You can stay there for the whole day and just relax on the hammocks, or enjoy the beach and the pools.

This place looks really nice. Could be also in Cambodia... but no... here you would see for sure some plastic garbage laying around :D
You can see lots of plastic garbage laying around in El Salvador, but it is changing slowly and it is cleaning up quite a bit. The funny thing is everyone cleans and sweeps their houses and in front of their houses or businesses every single morning so everyone has their place nice and clean, but later during the day they just throw the garbage everywhere making a mess all over again. But I must say it really has cleaned up during last couple of yearrs.
It is amazing how similar the people are, even if they live on the other side of the world. Slowly it getting a bit cleaner here also.
