Thailand's Tuk-tuk
Years ago, my sister and I went to Bangkok, Thailand for a short holiday. It was my sister's first time to experience the country. I've been here for a couple of visits already.
This tuk-tuk or 'sam lor' (three-wheeled) was Marriott hotel's service vehicle. From our hotel, it transports us to the nearest BTS or train station whenever we want to go out and explore the city. The nearest station from our hotel was Phrom Phong just beside Emporium, a luxury shopping mall in Khlong Toei District, Bangkok.
Even though tuk-tuk is popular among tourists as a transportation feature in this country, riding it was more of an experience for my sister and I than a practical way to get around.
