Rio a REAL beauty

Woke up, brushed my teeth while checking the notifications on my smartphone. Double Checked the confirmation and pick up time for today's tour around Rio de Janeiro. Turned on the camera to make sure the battery is loaded, eighty three percent loaded. grabbed a bottle of water out of the minibar, my mini umbrella, the city map, wallet and an extra battery for the cam.

Hint: store all your belongings in a theft proof backpack, leave nothing in your pockets when your on sightseeing. Otherwise youre an easy target for pocket picking.

I was ready for the tour. waited in the lobby and after half an hour delay the bus arrived. usually i prefer to travel without a tour on my own. But alone in Rio i prefered to go with an organized tour.

The first stop we did was the Tijuca rainforest and Christ the redeemer which i wrote about in the previous post here. Afterwards he brought us to more great places:

The staires are mounted with beautiful tiles in different colors.



This is me in a very rare moment whre i had this part of the stairs for myself.

It was cloudy and made the experience so mystical.
