You forgot to mention something about the house parties. In general when you go to a Noweigian house party, you bring your own beer and you only drink the ones that you brought. :D I've never seen that anywhere else.
Also if you go to the supermarkets, there are many home brew kits since they are legal to sell. The end result of the home brew alcohol though is rather awful. So they sell alcohol flavoring too. So you make add it to your home made rubbish and make it taste a little like something better,... whisky for example. Thanks to the super high taxes on alcohol.
Depending on the strength of the Snus and how used you are to it, it's not only the first Snus that hits you hard :D
Yeah I only took a "medium" and apparently the "very strong" are twice as strong, I can't even imagine how hard this must hit haha
From my experience: first your face gets pale and turns slightly green :D
I should have asked the people around me then haha.
Norway is great! Have you ever been to "Lofoten/Vesteralen"? Great place, very silent and perfect for hiking.
