The Slanted Cafe

in #travel6 years ago (edited)

Well the title is a bit misleading. The patio is definitely slanted but the inside is very level. I prefer to go for photo walks early in the mornings or late at night. Especially weekends when you have the city pretty much to yourself with just the right amount of individuals to give the frame some life. It is also easier to get candid photos as I have found people to be less guarded as life is much more chilled when they don't have to be somewhere at a specific time.

I came across Cafe Francoeur on an a Sunday morning in early spring. It is situated on the corner of Rue Francoeur and Rue Caulaincourt which is at the northern edge of Paris proper. I can't speak for their food or coffee which according to the reviews seems to be pretty good. All I can say is that the exterior makes for a very Parisian photograph.
