Germany 2 - Cologne
On my second day at Germany, I checked out from hotel of Dusseldorf to see the Cologne Cathedral and immediately returned to Cologne.

The Cologne Cathedral is known as one of 4th great cathedrals in the world, and also third biggest.
It was so hard to put it in one picture for its height is 516.4 feet!

Among three entrances, the middle one is blocked.

By the entrance, 1 Euro guidebook is being sold at self-counter.
Now I go up to the cathedral. In picture, there was the entrance on the right.

In Cologne, you can feel the atmosphere of old Germany in every alley.
▲ Kölsch, the Cologne beer
Kölsch in 200ml glass was soft and less bitter beer.
This beer is rival with Alt beer of Dusseldorf, and it was best among many I have drank before. 2 gulps is over for its glass is small.

I think this place where I took this picture, was the best point to see the night view of Cologne.
This was the moment I wrapped up my day and erased one of my bucket list.
To be honest, rather than the fact of going to Paris, the thinking of seeing the Cologne Cathedral made me more want to go to Europe.
After I left Cologne, I arrived at Amsterdam, the capital of Netherlands.
