miTravel: The Ground of Alexandria

I just visited "The Ground of Alexandria" yesterday after I've been living in Sydney for 5 years and wonder why I didn't come to know this place earlier! The view is spectacular! Every where look like it come out of a fairy tale.

The place consist of beautiful and carefully decorated cafe and restaurant, garden, food stalls and market.
Getting there is very easy. We took a train and get off at Green Square train station then walk for 15 minutes before we found the entrance.

The Entrance which, somehow, reminded me of the movie Harry Potter 😆

The first thing I saw after enter this huge garden is a small farm, a very huge pig and a colorful parrot

A wishful fountain in a fantasy restaurant. I can smell roasted coffee from the brew bar inside where a live music is played by blue dress red lip lady (no photo so you will have to use your imagination 😉). Although there were a lot of people, the vision of green leaves and blooming flowers that grow almost everywhere give me the sense of peaceful.

Next to Alexandria garden, there is a market that sell handcraft goods, jewelry

For anyone that plan to visit Sydney, I would like to encourage you to visit this place. The place is not in google when you type "Sydney tourist attraction" but it'd be fun to go off the map sometimes plus you have a story to tell that not a lot of people have ever heard about just yet! :)
