Travel - United Kingdom - Caernarfon Castle
After our travels via Betws-y-coed and pitching our tents behind the Swallow Falls Hotel in Wales, we still had enough sunlight to explore Wales towards the West. We had a crap-load to see in limited time and we traveled and road-tripped like crazy students... well, we were crazy students back then. ;)
Our random drive took us to Caernarfon Castle, a medieval fortress in Caernarfon, Gwynedd, north-west Wales. Parts of the castle dates from the 13th century and we only had time to walk the outer wall, including the "Kings Gate". The castle is right next to the River Seiont, which make for very nice views, even though we had bad weather.
After a quick explore, we jumped in our car and drove back where we came from. ;)
