The Durdle Door in Dorset, UK, is one of those amazing rock formations that simply take your breath away. Fortunately for the comfortable tourist, it is close to a beach where you can just enjoy the scenery!
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.
Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #99 - winner announcement!
@axeman Asian Sunday entry:
Dialogue. Travel memories from Israel. Shot at the coast of Mediterranean Sea near Old Yaffa, the center of Tel-Aviv. Nice sunny, but not so hot and windy day. Nice place to spend the time nearby the sea, which is actually just after this hill with nice unusual form tree. The bird was just an excellent addition to the composition, which now is telling us the whole story. Enjoy it!

Tourists walking to/from large ferries that connect the coastal city of Playa del Carmen with the nearby Cozumel Island. The photo was taken in the harbor in Play del Carmen on the famous Riviera Maya on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico.
beautiful pictures😍
The way to the blue dream atlantic ocean bay on cuba!
A highlight in Cuba is the bright blue water in the beautiful bays. In the photo you can see the Playa Pesquero bay. Snorkelling is best done with a pedalo, because then you have the chance to meet huge schools of fish. Whether Nemo, yellow or blue fish: who goes on the search, finds his favorite fish.
I have also posted this photo on my Marwitt | The way of life blog.
I had the luck of catching this wonderful shot at late blue hour in the ferry pier at Kennacraig, while on a tour in Scotland. It is so serene to watch day turning to night by the ocean.

Sunset on the atlantic. The Dune of Pilat offers an amazing view of the Arcachon Bay in West of France. It's ideal to go watch the sunset and stay at night to observe the summer meteor showers.
New Zealand Sunset
I enjoyed countless beautiful sunsets during my travels in New Zealand. I usually prefer mountains over beaches, but the beautiful and wild coast of New Zealand certainly is an exception.

A sunset in the coastal city of La Serena in northern Chile. You can see the gradient of the blue on the sky, and also some sea birds on the shore. La Serena is well known for its beautiful sunsets.
Creatures of the Frozen Planet
While it's summer out of the window, its always good to return to some older archives to breath some colder air. At least visually
Long exposure shot at the coast of Baltic Sea during very low winter temperatures. The water in Baltic has very low salt percentage, so still getting frozen at the shoreline time to time, bringing some very interesting possibilities for landscape shooting
Enjoy it!

I miss the beach. It’s been too long since I got the chance to swim in the sea or ocean. I need some time off. I remember when I took this picture in the Dominican Republic, it was the perfect ending to a perfect day.
The Beach
Where we go to relax, play, walk the dogs, play sports and have fun. Why is it the beach draws us in as soon as the sun comes out or when we have a long weekend? That's because the sea is full of mystery and the shore is the soft and inviting border of what we know and what we don't.
