Hello fellow Steemians!

I am here with another round of my photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below. I host this photo challenge twice a week - on Tuesday and Friday.

You can submit your entries in the current round from now until Tuesday, 6 AM (CET). Please, don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

The best 15 entries of the round will be rewarded with my upvote. I will also pick the absolute winner of the round from these 15 photos and reward him with an extra upvote on one of his recent posts published on the Steem blockchain. The winning photo will be also featured as the cover image for the next round of the photo challenge to give the author some more exposure and publicity.

There were many great entries submitted in the last round of the Prague/Czech Republic Photo Challenge and I had a hard time picking the absolute winner. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @hairyfairy:

View at Spilberk castle in Brno from Kraví hora (Cow hill or Monte Bú). Golden small tower belongs to orthodox St. Gotthard church. The castle used to be feared prison, its casemates (cells) are still in existence and visited by tourists.

Congratulations, @hairyfairy! It is my pleasure to upvote one of your recent posts.

Thank you for your submissions everyone. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

Please feel free to check out some of my other recent posts.

Front view of the Kvasice Chateau. The origins of this majestic chateau date back to as early as the 16th century but throughout the times, the building has undergone several major reconstructions that have changed its appearance. The chateau can be found in the little Moravian town of Kvasice in the Zlin Region.

The new, western facade of the St. Procopius Basilica in Třebíč and the main entrance to the chateau are built in Baroque style. Because of its architectural uniqueness, St. Procopius Basilica was registered in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2003.

I didn't post here any photo for a long time but @krakonos reminded me abou that ;)

This picture is from Broumov, is close to Polish border and good news for climbers and hikers - close to mountains and rocks. Ok, Czech Republic is not a big country so everywhere is close to the mountains, but the main goal to visit this city this time was Czech cuisine ;)

V České republice máme mnoho památných stromů. Náš národní strom, lípa, Tilia Cordata, se může dožít několika staletí. Na mé fotce je památná Oselecká lípa nedaleko Nepomuka. Tento mohutný strom byl chráněný státem. Dožila se zhruba 250 let a v roce 2015 podlehla silnému větru. Na jejím místě zasadili místní lidé novou lipku. A teď nezbývá než čekat, až vyroste...

Oselecká lípa I.jpg

We have many memorable trees in the Czech Republic. Our national tree, the lime tree, Tilia Cordata, can live for centuries. In my photo is a memorable Oselec lime tree near Nepomuk. This huge tree was protected by the state. She lived for about 250 years and in 2015 succumbed to a strong wind. In its place, local people planted a new lime tree. Now we have to wait until he grows up ...

Its architect Bohumil Fuchs has good reputation but this project doesn't belong among his best. The town hall tower in the background is 66 meters high.

Czech Republic, superpower in a number of lookout towers, Interior of a lookout tower in the Botanical Garden in Troja
I do not know exactly how many lookout towers in the Czech Republic. New ones are still emerging. I think we're approaching a thousand. Some are stone, others wooden or iron. The observation tower is of iron. Also from the inside is interesting ...
